I like alot of music. No matter the kind of music, you can't deny an amazing voice. Anything that makes me reminisce. I still listen to a lot of my parents favorite music as it is a comfort since losing my Dad. Lots of the Beatles, Tom Petty, Jackson Brown, The Eagles, Zeplin, Pink Floyd, Pheobe Snow, Marvin Gaye, ya know the oldies but goodies. I love oldies!! Love rap and R&B, but don't love all rappers and all R&B singers. Devin the Dude is my hero. Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Tupac, Keyshia Cole, John Legend, Fugees, Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, Mos Def, Bob Marley, Joss Stone, Leona Naess, KT Tunstall, Corinne Bailey Rae, Sublime, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, the list goes on and on...
Movies:
Geez, there are so many for such different reasons. The Sound of Music, The Little Mermaid, The Snadlot, The Notebook, Alot Like Love, Footloose, Casino, Scarface, Blood in Blood Out, Office Space, Friday, Mean Girls, Half Baked, Dazed and Confused, Saw II, Napolean Dynamite, 40 Year Old Virgin, Jackass 2. Loved Hotel Rhwanda and Crash, both were pretty deep and made me think. I love movies that do that to you. I have to say though that my favorite movie in the whole world is A Christmas Story. Love, Love, Love that movie.
Television:
Okay, the big confession comes out...I am completely in love with COPS!! Not the real thing, just the show :) I will drop anything to watch if I come across reruns on Court TV or new episodes before I go out on Saturday night. There it is, I feel much better now. I also love Dave Chappelle, All My Children, The Office, The Real World, The OC, Prison Break, The History Channel, Rick Steves Travel, the news (even though it's depressing), etc.
Books:
You Can Heal Your Life by Louise L. Hay, it made me look at life and realize how I am ultimately responsible for my own hapiness.
