In an effort to celebrate the average-everyday man, Marina The Poet/Imani Press Publishing is in search of 12 unique men to adorn the 2010 "Hunk Of Black Man" Calendar. What is a "Hunk Of Black Man"? He is proud, well-rounded, respected in his community, ambitious, hard-working, a mentor, intelligent, and spiritual.He is not necessarily brawn, but brains too. He is book smart and street smart. He respects women and teaches by example. He is blue collar as well as white collar.Think you have what it takes, or know of someone who is a "Hunk Of Black Man"? Is he 21+? If so, send a recent photo (no more than six months old) and a 500 word or less essay explaining why you think you/your entry should adorn the 2010 calendar.
