Flyleaf Interview
Eowyn - Locked Away
I'm a very active guy who has a lot more interests than he generally has time for. I'm very serious about serving God and growing in my relationship with Him, and hopefully that comes first. I believe in absolute truth, right & wrong, hard work, and hard play. I love to laugh, and try not to take the little things too seriously, but I can also be serious when it's important. I really appreciate a good sense of humor, and enjoy being around people who like to laugh.
I love worshipping God, hanging out/playing games with friends, going to concerts and music festivals (especially Joshua Fest! ), traveling, volunteering, and going on mission trips. I enjoy photography/videography, rollerblading, and outdoor activities such as mountain biking, skiing, hiking, and camping, especially with friends or family. (I don't always have time to do all of these things, but I really enjoy them when I do.) I used to be somewhat shy (at least around new people), but I've gotten much more outgoing over the last few years, and I have a lot of friends, thanks to Living Stones .
I enjoy learning about almost anything. I'm totally curious, even about things that I don't really need to know. I just enjoy finding out how the world works! I like a challenge (physical or mental), and I'm willing to try almost anything if it's not wrong (or too crazy). I hate failure, but I love success too much not to try...If you tell me I can't, I'll likely try to prove you wrong!
I've chosen electrical engineering as my "career field" because I enjoy using technology to solve problems (NOT textbook problems, but the real-world, interesting, useful kind!). Again, I enjoy a challenge. (The pay doesn't hurt either, but I have to finish school before I can fully enjoy that benefit!)
I don't get bored easily, and always prefer to finish what I start if possible. I hate stupid rules, but I'll usually follow directions if there is a logical purpose. I'm generally pretty optimistic, and I believe that the only way to truly fail at anything is to give up, or worse, not to try in the first place. On this note, I try to be encouraging, and I love to help people learn new things. I don't care how many times you fall down, but if you would like to succeed, keep trying, ask for help, whatever.... I love to help/see people succeed at things they said they "couldn't do," or were afraid to do. If you don't want to try something, that's fine. I certainly don't expect everyone to be good at (or to enjoy) everything, but it makes me sad if you tell me you can't before you even try!
If I don't know something, I want to know it. If I'm ignorant, PLEASE teach me. If I'm wrong, please tell me (kindly), and if you are wrong, I'll try to tell you kindly as well. Let us "...encourage one another, and build each other up..." (1 Thess 5:11).

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet whoever God brings into my life. I like meeting new people, and I promise I'll try to remember your name. ;-) I really enjoy hanging out with people who are adventurous and active, who enjoy life and like to have fun and laugh. I am primarily on Myspace to keep in touch with people that I already know, and to get to know people better, who I have just recently met. However, I'm certainly not opposed to meeting new people on here too. "A friend of a friend is a friend of mine" (or something like that), as the saying goes...

Movies:

I like many different kinds of movies, almost anything that's decent and reasonably well thought out. I especially like anything funny. Comedy, action, mystery, drama, good love stories, etc are all good. Here are a few titles that I can think of: Lord of the Rings, Batman Begins, The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Passion of the Christ, King Kong, X-Men, Hitch, Hidalgo, Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo (1984) (old, but really funny! Obviously, I'm too young to have seen it when it first came out....), A Lot Like Love, Mission Impossible, Friday Night Lights, I-Robot, Sleepless in Seattle, October Sky, A Walk to Remember, Luther, Radio, Castaway, Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life (2003), Spy Game, Finding Nemo, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Honey I Blew up the Baby, Honey we Shrunk Ourselves, (Yes, I know the last 4 are children's Disney movies, but you've got to admit that they are really funny!)

Television:

I honestly have no time to watch TV. Maybe someday I will, but most of it is a waste of time anyway.

Books:

The Bible

Heroes:

Jesus Christ
