I'm a follower of Jesus (in other words, a Christian). I don't use the second term as often because a lot of musty, old luggage comes with it. There's nothing stodgy, hypocritical, or hateful about Christ. Sadly, Christians have earned a reputation for these things.
Gandhi's comment (see above) reminds me that God has called me to things much more fulfilling than what I've been doing with my life lately.
