ecclectic~ i am a regular listener to 90.3 the core~ & also i am a big fan of breakfast with the beatles~ i like old and new rock, blues~ jazz ~ the undiluted variety~ as opposed to the smooth variety~ motown~ and i have been known even to go to the opera~ yeah~ its a stretch for me i admit~but my niece ~ the opera girl will culture me ~

the wizard of oz~ the wicked witch is on the top of my list of the best evil one in a movie~ and then of course i have a thing for the ruby slippers~ what can you do~ other films i have watched recently mary poppins~ on golden pond~ finding nemo~ all beautiful movies~ take poppins~ some masterful artwork in that film~ the views of london's rooftops and more all painted on glass~ whoo~ and nemo is beautiful animation ~ so beautiful~ and on golden pond~ filmed with a mind to catch the beauty of nature as a canvas for the story~ ok all done~ with film reviews~
pbs~ antiques roadshow~ charlie rose~ masterpiece theatre~ mystery~soundstage~austin city limits~ umm~ great performances ~ network tv ~ jeopardy~ sunday morning with charles osgood~ oh yeah charles kuralt~ i cried when he died ~ felt like i lost a friend~
yeah~ besides the Bible~ where do i start ~ favorite book is the poisonwood bible~ i can relate very strongly to adah~ one of the characters ~ and so i read a lot~ and every once in a while i stumble across an exceptional read~ i will post those here~recommended reading:pillars of the earth by ken follett~ so interesting~ and character development is right on~ and 900 pages and change later and you want it to keep on going~ and the book is over~ and you are sad~ great book~ a must read~mapmaker's opera~ by bea gonzalez~ it is about maps, birds love and more ~ lyrically written~ ~ just wonderful~ very wonderful~bridge of sigh's by richard russo~ incredibly written with the texture of life so real you know the people~ you want to visit them~ every day~ and you do every time you pick it up and read it~days' of the endless corvette~ by man martin~poignant and hilarious and cynical and then not~ great great book~ you will laugh out loud~ even if you are reading in a public place like in a dr's waiting room~ he has a sardonic way of writng and i can relate~ besides i'm thinking he has the talent of a mark twain~
