Jose Sousa a.k.a. Truemachine, Málaga born musical producer, well known and respected for his boundary- breaking
work in Chill-out, Down-tempo and NuFunk (Soul Galactic=2C Lidered Band=2C Preset One...)
He had become well established in the Electronic scene of Andalucia by 2005, having lived for
several years and been influenced by the international scene in Barcelona... and returned to live in the South to work with many
well-known labels...Bunkerlab, Sambafrique-Records, NoPreset Records, Disolend-Records, Fabriks-Records...
With his trademark skill for infusing Minimal with engaging 3D detail, Sousa left an indelible mark on electronic dance music
and earned himself an in-demand reputation. He has played dj sets and live acts at Sala Siroco (Madrid), Sala Apolo (Barcelona), Festival de Reus (Tarragona), Sala Metropolis (Cordoba), Rocket Festival and Dragon Festival (Granada), Discoteca Palladium (Malaga) and various clubs nationally.
In 2008, he played the prestigious closing set at the Radio Club-7 Festival, Leipzig, Germany.
Sharing promotional billboards with the likes of Alex Under, Donnacha Costello, D.A.R.Y.L., Aaron Liberatos, Jerry Dammers..his Live Act evolves with neverending sounds and profound thythms...loosely based around Techno and Electro...with an infectious bass groove taken from the most modern House Music... the purest essence of Minimal is added for a truely engaging experience. Se consolida en el 2005 en la escena electrònica andaluza, tras vivir varios años en Barcelona y regresar al sur, trabajando para varios sellos discograficos entre ellos Bunkerlab, Sambafrique-records, Nopreset-records, Disolend-records, Fabriks-records..Destacando su influencia por la musica electronica de baile con detalles y tendencia minimalista.
Entre sus actuaciones(Dj-sets y Live-Acts):
destacan Sala Siroco(Madrid), Sala Apolo(Barcelona), Festival de Reus(Tarragona),
Sala Metropolis (Cordoba), Rocket Festival y Dragon Festival (Granada),
Discoteca Palladium(Málaga) y diversos clubes nacionales.
Cerrando con su actuación en Abril de 2008 el Festival Radio Club-7 en la ciudad alemana de Leipzig.
Comparte cartel con artistas de la talla de Alex Under, Donnacha Costello, D.A.R.Y.L.,Aaron Liberatos, Jerry Dammers...Su Actuación en Directo (LIVE ACT) consta en un despliegue de un sin fin de sonidos y ritmos basados en el Techno y Electro con el groove basado en el house music mas moderno y con la mas pura esencia del Minimal.
Su DJ-SET va desde el Deep Minimal House mas movido hasta el mas pistero Minimal-Techno.
