Paganism, Tarot, bellydance and it's music, corsets, camping, reading, writing, LEARNING, hiking, drawing, art history and creating art, sewing, beading, painting, throwing pots, making Xay and Corwin happy and Jason smile, placing beauty in the world.11/2007 I taught myself knitting and I'm so completely into it that I can spend hours just looking at patterns and needles. Albert Einstein. Madame Marie Curie. Kurt Vonnegut. Stephen Chopyak. Adam Irvin. Molly McNees Hunt and Zane. John Compton (met him and took a workshop from him! 03/2007 I felt like such a rock star, too!) and Rachel Brice. Tobias Roberson (met him and took two workshops from him! 04/2006 Still suck at zilling and dancing though. Practice, practice.). People who inspire me. Friendly people who love laughing and despise inconsideration. People who will love my sons nearly as much as I do. Most of all, I'd like to meet myself at age 18 and tell myself that everything is going to be fine, and beautiful, and unexpected, but that enjoying it is the best part.
Anything my husband creates. He's ridiculously talented. Anything that makes me dance, happy, cry, laugh, think. What moves me, that's what I like.
Labyrinth, Joy Luck Club, Amelie, Much Ado About Nothing, Kundun, Kiki's Delivery Service, Monthy Python and the Holy Grail, The Seven Samurai, Ran, Billy Elliot, Shine, Harry Potter movies, Lord of the Ring movies, and whatever I'm watching with good friends.
I don't watch tv, but I sure watch alot of Anime, so I'll list that: Sayuki, Berserk, Evangelion, Helsing are among my favorites. (Just realized what a complete geek I am. Ain't it GREAT! :D )
There is no way I could list everything here. I'm not even going to try after a lifetime of reading my eyes out constantly.
My sons, Xay and Corwin, for being exactly who they are and who they are supposed to be at all times.
