If you’re not real, you’re only a phantom.

About Me

As a student I’ve lived in Lacey for three years. I love the forest on my campus. Currently I’m majoring in religious studies with a minor in biology. I’m looking to the University of Washington for grad school. I love to party, but I’m not a party kid. I like to have deep talks with new friends and easy talks with old friends. I've got eyes made to see, ears made to hear, hands made to work, a voice made to speak, and heart made to love. I rock out in my car, build camp fires, catch spiders, show people my shitty poetry, and talk to plants. My heart needs a road trip.

My Interests

I live easy, I love easy, and I forgive easy. Anything else I'm inspired to do.

I'd like to meet:

I like down to earth people who have found their place in the world, even if that changes. I love passion and motivation in people, but if you’re not open minded enough to be flexible than I think you've missed the point of passion, from my perspective anyway. I'd love to talk to anyone and share potent words. You're a builder baby, here I am a stone. I'd love to meet a girl that can appreciate life blooming before her eyes. Someone not afraid to try new things and who feels free to express herself. A girl I could drive up and down the coast with would be great.

Music:

I'm a die hard Sublime fan. Bob Marley, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, anything funky, and music with soul and brass.

Movies:

"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own -- a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotism." (Einstein)Oh.... as far as movies go, I like them.

Television:

Family Guy, Futurama, Adult Swim, CSI, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, History Channel, some things on the SCIFI, and of course SOUTH PARK!

Books:

Words are the sweet balm of my soul. My spirit would wither without them.

Heroes:

Kahlil Gibran, Brad Noel, Jonny Cash, Jesus, Parmenides, Mawlana Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, Lao Tzu, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Humanity.

Love is a Ghost

Through pouring rain he walks. He walks because there's nothing else to do. The rain is cold, but the ground is sacred. His stride matches his heart beat. It is impossible for him to say which one is ...

I put a subject here.

Seven Reprimands-by Gibran   "I reprimand my soul seven times! The first time: when I attempted to exalt myself by exploiting the weak. The second time: when I feigned a limp before those who we...

I just might leave you

I am free. Free to believe in a power beyond me. Free to exist within its bonds, bonds that masquerade as needs. Needs that consume a whole life in search of it. Needs, spawned by ego, meant to fulf...

How the gods acquired the knowledge they needed to rule the world.

One day, the gods were considering the administration of the world in the ordinary way, and one of them said, "Here's a spot I've been thinking about for a while-- a wide, pleasant savannah. Let's sen...

This is why I love Kahlil Gibran

"And one of the elders of the city said, 'Speak to us of Good and Evil.' And he answered:  Of the good in you I can speak, but not of the evil.  For what is evil but good tortured by its own...
