And on to the bio.....lol So I grew up on music, put a drum head on a lampshade and bought some drumsticks when I was 11 and I was hooked! My Mom was a pretty good harmonica player, and my Dad played accordian...but gave it up well before I was born. I wanted to play, even though there was never any encouragement to. Picked up my first guitar when I was a freshman in high school from a flea market for $7...it had two strings, and I hardly ever put it down. Did stints with a few garage bands in high school, but never played a show. I started to get into recording at this time, and learned some other instruments. Well fast forward a few years, and I had a few friends I would jam with, and had a few decent tunes at the time. A good friend of the drummer was going to school in Omaha Nebraska, and his frat was thowing a "battle of the bands". So we decided to throw together a band. We needed a name by Sunday to get on the bill; what do we call ourselves? Something by Sunday! lol.We drove out in 4 cars, and set up at the gig. This was my first show in front of people, and was incredibly nervous. They were bussing students to the show, and by the time the first band played, the attendance was over 1600! Panic set in, to say the least. Well, we played, and killed the room. We won the battle (which was good, because we needed the gas money!)...they were chanting our name at the voting, and it was one of the greatest moments of my life!Since then, we had become a fairly well known college band. However eventually imploded to do massive EGOS!Been in a few bands since then, even a top 40 '80's band that toured resorts. It was fun, but it was time to settle down. Now I'm back to my home recording, and am happy. However I do miss the stage. Down the road it would be nice to find some stable bandmates, and make things happen!Anyway, the tunes I have on here were all recorded in my home "studio" basically a computer, a decent soundcard, Cakewalk Sonar, and a walk-in closet as a soundbooth. I tracked everything; meaning I played all the tracks one by one against a click track. So, yeah...one man band!
