Sounds Like: Like the unique sound of Go-Go spawned in his hometown, Mr. Anderson’s beats are hypnotic. His blend of Go-Go, classic soul, funk, and R&B is a breath of fresh air in a musical climate overcast with simplistic, contrived melodies composed in the interest of two-steps and ring tones. The sound of Mr. Anderson can best be described as clean melodies inspired by funk and modern R&B stylings, rhythmic syncopation, and intricate percussion anchored by mind-boggling, knee-collapsing breakdowns.
