This is the best band in the world (ever) performing "Please", one of their many incredible songs. This is a great version/performance live at MTV video awards 1997. Actually to me this sounds like a prayer put to music. 10 years ago and I still remember watching this live on TV. Amazing stuff:
The incredible Daft Punk:
Miles Davis (was a genius)
THE FLAMING LIPS - She don..t use jelly live - you gotta dig this:
Many of them are directed and/or produced by the following: Orson Welles, Charlie Chaplin, Alfred Hitchcock, Sergio Leone, Stanley Kubrick, Francis Ford Coppola, Sophia Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Clint Eastwood, Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam, Wim Wenders, Roman Polansky, George Lucas, Gene Roddenberry, Oliver Stone, Stephen Spielberg, Ridley Scott, John Woo, Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, Luc Besson, David Lynch, David Fincher, Peter Jackson, Coen brothers, Wachowski brothers...moderate japanimation/manga fan by the way. great stuff!
The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Fawlty Towers, Heroes, 24
taking my time reading "Chronicles volume one" by Bob Dylan. "Bono on Bono" by Mickha Assayas is up next. The Bible stirs the soul and trembles foundations (removing dust in the process). "A grief observed", "Mere Christianity" and "The Screwtape Letters" by C. S. Lewis and "Addicted to Mediocrity" by Franky Schaeffer helped me see things differently.
