Get Your Own! | View SlideshowI'm easily amused and slightly sarcastic. I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine and we would all be much happier if we could make fun of ourselves once in a while. I plan to make this world a better place, one bad joke at a time. I'm spending an increasing amount of time working, and it's starting to cut into my laying around doing nothing time. When I'm not at work, I take naps and showers like its my job, I read incessantly and Diet Coke is my drug of choice.Roll Tide.

My Interests

theatre, Shakespeare, British literature, compulsive text messaging, laughter, film and film critisism, marathon napping, silliness, long showers, Dr. Pepper lip balm, photography, singing loudly with my friends, procrastinating (im the master of it!), poker, SEC football, twister, shopping, New York City, London, European history, soccer, volleyball, crew, debating

I'd like to meet:

Julie Taymor, Mel Brooks, Phillippa Gregory, Bill Cosby, Ron Howard, Tom Hanks, Mario Puzo, Mike Myers, Meryl Streep, Mia Hamm, I could go on....Really, anyone who is willing to teach, willing to learn, and willing to laugh is someone I'd like to meet.Oh, and it's a random dream of mine to have lunch at Tavern on the Green with Tim Gunn and Nathan Lane. I don't really know why, but I have a feeling I would be entertained.

Music:

all things by Jimmy Buffett (his music was the first I memorized when I was little, and I am not ashamed), The Temptations, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, The Decemberists, The Streets, The Arctic Monkeys, Scissor Sisters, Amy Winehouse, The Pipettes, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, PJ Harvey, Lenny Kravitz, KT Tunstall, most Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Beach Boys, Ray Charles, and I have a love of showtunes that borders on obsession.

Movies:

Imitation of Life, anything Alfred Hitchcock or Mel Brooks directed, every Tom Hanks movie, Beauty and the Beast, A Clockwork Orange, BBC's Pride and Prejudice, Dead Poets' Society, Fight Club, Adam's Rib, Princess Bride, The Aristocrats, Elf, Richard III (with Ian McCellan) Father of the Bride, Boondock Saints, Sister Act, Love Actually, Shrek 1 and 2, and The Wizard of Oz, really there are way too many to name. If you know me, just look at my DVD collection.

Television:

House, I Love Lucy, Pushing Up Daisies, Friends, Family Guy, Sex & the City, Inside the Actor's Studio, The Cosby Show, Conan O'Brien, Project Runway, The Tudors

the list grows daily...Portrait of a Lady, The Godfather, The Family, Angels and Demons, The Borgia Bride, Lord of the Flies, An Instance of the Fingerpost, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Special Topics in Calamity Physics, Jane Eyre, The Haunting of Hill House, Dracula, The Autobiography of Henry VIII, Frankenstein, Shakespeare's Invention of the Human, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Harry Potter series, anything written by William Shakespeare, Phillippa Gregory, Carol Goodman, or Gregory McGuire, literary and film criticism.

Heroes:

my mom, Eleanor Roosevelt, and anyone who takes risks to make their dreams come true (so it's cheesy, get over it, you know you agree with me)

Blah....

I hate having a cold. If I have to be stuck at home sick, I'd rather it be with something that would knock me out for a day or two and I'd wake up feeling 100% again. Instead, I am trapped in an ongoi...

Revelations....

It's strange...I've been acting since I was 5, and after each opening night I would ask my mom what she thought. She would always say "good" "fine" or any of a number of vaguely nice things. ...
