Be the change you want to see in the world...

About Me

..2008 is the year that I departed the City of Angels for Seattle, WA. I like pretty and shiny things a great deal. My friends are the family of my choosing. Adjectives used to describe me have included world-class multitasker, exquisite, conundrum, sweet, pure evil, passionate and a few other things. I see the reasons for each. My Interests

Whatever happened to quality, style and taste in this world? I listen to music whenever possible, and my hard drive is very unhappy about that. I believe in reinvention, burlesque, modeling, learning, and being wrong. Vanity is a strange affliction and it amuses me above all else and is harmless. This year marks the 10th anniversary of my official foray into DJing. 7 years for the so-called modeling. I'm continually moving forward. You can stand still or lie still when you're dead.

I'd like to meet:

..Be a good person who is true to yourself and who lives life deliberately and not accidentally. Mindfulness goes a long way with me, as well as humor. Oh yeah, don't be someone who treats my friends with disrespect.

Music:

..Alaska, Amon Tobin, Angelo Badalamenti, Apparat, Aphex Twin, Arovane, Augustus Pablo, Autechre, Aux 88, Barry Adamson, Bauhaus, Beaumont Hannant, Bjork, Black Heart Procession, Blonde Redhead, Boards of Canada, Brian Eno, Broadcast, Broken Social Scene, The Buzzcocks, Carla Bruni, Cesaria Evora, Chuck Berry, Cabaret Voltaire, Cinematic Orchestra, Clark, The Clash, Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Danny Breaks, David Bowie, David Holmes, Dead Can Dance, Depeche Mode, Dillinja, Drexciya, Dylan UK, Ellen Allien, Esquivel, Fugazi, Funckarma, Funkstörung, Future Sound of London, Gogol Bordello, Goldfrapp, Happy Mondays, The Herbaliser, Jaga Jazzist, The Jam, Jean-Paul Bondy, Jeff Buckley, Jim Campilongo Electric Trio, Joy Division, The Knife, Kraftwerk, Lamb, Leonard Cohen, Loquat, Loscii, Love and Rockets, Low, Massive Attack, Mazzy Star, Meat Beat Manifesto, Mirah, Monolake, Mulatu Astatke, Mum, Muse, New Order, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Nicola Conte, Nightmares on Wax, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Orb, Orbital, Oscar Peterson, Pan Sonic, Parts and Labor, Patti Smith, Pinback, PJ Harvey, The Police, Public Enemy, Pulp, Queen, Radiohead, Richie Hawtin/Plastikman, Rolling Stones, Scorn, Serge Gainsbourg, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Skinny Puppy, The Smiths, Squarepusher, Stereolab, talkdemonic, Talking Heads, Tom Waits, Trentemøller, Two Lone Swordsmen, u-ziq, Vangelis, Vex'd, Wes Montgomery. There are a lot more movies that I need to see, and I might have to revise this list accordingly.

Heroes:

..“Myths and legends die hard in America. We love them for the extra dimension they provide, the illusion of near-infinite possibility to erase the narrow confines of most men's reality. Weird heroes and mould-breaking champions exist as living proof to those who need it that the tyranny of ''the rat race'' is not yet final.” - Hunter S. Thompson
