About Me

Well, let's see, I'm Rob, I'm 24, and I live in a small town in New Hampshire, but wouldn't have it any other way - city life is too fast paced for me. After high school I wasn't sure what I wanted to do so I worked full time for a few years before deciding that the working world sucks, I then decided to return to school where I am currently in my third semester seeking a degree in political science. It had been a few years since I was in the classroom so I decided the community college route to be best to get back in to the flow of things, whether that was actually the best decision remains to be seen as thus far I've been pretty disappointed with things here. In addition, as politics has become my first love, I have found I have little interest in required courses in the arts and sciences outside of that realm. Politically I fall in somewhere around the libertarian/minarchist/individualist anarchist/anarcho-capitalist/anarchist right school of thought, espousing a view of limited/minimalist government & individual rights and favoring non-interventionist foreign policy and laissez-faire/free-market capitalism. I am of Scottish and Ulster-Scots ancestry which has also led to an interest in Scottish, Northern Irish, and British culture and history. Psychology is fun too. Sports are one of my many interests, mostly hockey (UNH men's and women's) and soccer (Rangers FC, New England Revolution); I also love music, all kinds: rock, metal, country, soul, r & b, funk, oldies, pretty much anything outside of rap, sans a few artists like Kanye West (his first album only). I love to travel, I've been a lot of places including all over the US, parts of Canada, Scotland, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas, just to name a few. Well, that's about all I can think of, I suppose if there is anything else you'd like to know you can just ask.

Radical Libertarian
(You scored 96% Personal Liberty and 98% Economic Liberty!)

A radical libertarian believes in little to no government intervention for both personal and economic matters. A radical libertarian generally believes in one out of these two options: (1) A government that is extremely small and limited to the extent of protecting people's liberty - this view is known as Minarchism (2) No government at all, in which the private sector takes up all legitimate functions that a government would have - this view is known as Anarcho-Capitalism. Radical Libertarians tend to be strongly opposed to war, police powers, victimless crimes, foreign intervention and what they consider to be a welfare state. Radical Libertarians tend to be inspired by the Austrian school of economics, classical liberalism and 19th century individualist anarchism. Libertarian thought is individualist in nature. They try to protect both personal and economic liberty. Examples of Radical Libertarianism would be Murray Rothbard, H.L. Mencken, Ludwig Von Mises and Lysander Spooner. Link: The Politics Test
