My name is Matt, which I'm sure you can figure out from the top of this page. I'm a graduate student at East Stroudsburg University, studying Secondary Education with a concentration in English. My friends say I'm going to be a grammar nazi (the only kind of nazi acceptable with my friends, as it should be everywhere), and really, I can't disagree. My real focus is to teach electives, such as radio and newspaper. Thanks to ESU, I'm going to have to wait for tenure for that. Jerks.
Many of my friends consider me to be a local celebrity, and that may be because I do a lot of stuff. I'm a writer for Sharp Magazine, as the writer of weekly professional wrestling column, The Ref. Sharp can be found every Friday in the Pocono Record, or online at www.sharpmag.com.
In addition, I'm the host of The Scene, which can be heard every Thursday night from 7-10pm on 90.3 WESS, East Stroudsburg University's radio station. Also on WESS, I'm the co-host of The 90's.3, playing nothing but the best and worst of the 1990's. That show can be heard every Tuesday night from 7-9pm.
