STUKA is hard working, self-managed band from the main industrial center in Serbia, Pancevo. The major influences are American garage rock, late 60's psychedelia and some New Wave elements, particularly the Yugoslav New Wave of the early 80's.Stuka was the first Serbian band that played South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, USA. Spiro's Club, March 16, 2006.After SXSW festival the band members spent three months in USA, mostly exploring Texas and making footage for documentary "Lost in Austin". The movie was finished in August 2007 and it's partly showing SXSW 2006 as well as the trip through TX and NYC.
100% Pure adventure...Stuka was an opening band for The Black Godfather of Soul, Mr. Andre Williams, in Belgrade's SKC, Sep 30, 2006.The band won the first prize in music section of multimedial Art Joy Festival, Brassov, Romania, Nov 13-16, 2006.The band had mini tour in Serbia named "Lost In Serbia 2007".Another mini tour in Serbia with Italian band "The Intellectuals" in October 2007. Organized by "Bad Music For The Bad People", Belgrade.Stuka recorded three new songs in their home studio with a new singer and a new bass player as preparation for new album.
