Jozef was born in musicians family, had first lesson at age 5. After studying classical music in Europe (Serbia and Hungary), Jozef shows interest in contemporary music, such as jazz, funk, rock. In 1998 he received scholarship from Berklee College of Music, and entered Berklee in the year 2000 and since than he is mostly playing jazz, funk, fusion and contemporary music. In 2003 he graduated from Berklee and has developed his unique sound throughout the years. Jozef studied and performed with some of the greatest teachers and performers nowadays, such as Didier Lockwood, Matt Glaser, Rob Thomas, Nigel Kennedy, Mimi Rabson, Ed Tomassi, Bruno Raberg, Eugene Friesen, Rob Doezema, Ken Zambello, Tom Stein....
Currently, Jozef is teaching and performing in Boston metro area, and working on multiple projects, including his first solo album! It will be a mix of different styles, very contemporary and LIVE! Guest musicians will be featured as well.
