I'm 40 years old and about 5 years ago I realized that the job I had been at for over 12 years was not where God wanted me to be. So I quit that job and took one that allowed me to go back to school. I'm pursuing a B.S. at the University of Indianapolis. At this point in time, I'm trying to discern where God is leading me. My thoughts at this time are leaning towards youth, mentoring, teaching, counseling and even possibly working with some of the people that society has forgotten about, such as the homeless, incarcerated or those who have had rough family lives. I am very excited to find out what the future has in store. I'm not exactly sure where I will end up, but I do have complete faith that God will use my talents where he needs them. So I guess I'll just hold on and see where the ride takes me. The main reason I signed up for this site though was this. I am hoping to use this as a way to spread God's word through all of the wonderful Christian music that is out there these days. Through many of the lyrics of these songs, I have opened my eyes and my heart more to allow God to lead me where I should be. I hope that I can use this page to do the same for others.
