Grateful Efforts - Katrina Relief

About Me

I am a concerned citizen who works for the Samuel A. Kirk School in Palatine, IL. My co-workers and I want to help in Katrina relief efforts. One thing is for certain- our fellow citizens need our help! Our goal is to network with fellow citizens to gather supplies and ship them out to the survivors- along with continual relief efforts as time moves on. With a Think Locally attitude, Grateful Efforts will be helping in relief efforts by using a network of direct sources to the survivors starting with Genevieve Willson (see my friend "mme. genevieve asks YOU not to forget!" ) and the Maryville Academy in Des Plaines, IL. Right now we are collecting art supplies of any kind, children toys, and diapers. This site will also be used to network ideas for the continuing relief efforts as time moves on. If you want to help out, please send emails to [email protected]. My blogs will tell what is in demand and what is needed for the survivors. I will also document the progress Grateful Efforts- Katrina Relief is making. These are OUR FELLOW CITIZENS and they need our help....Help On The Way!It is all about the direct source to the survivors. Yes, there are charities out there but I want to be sure my efforts are going directly to the source. There's no middleman here and that's how we like it!Keepin' The Faith- Greg
