Grimm was born in the Original Sin City and brought up in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, New York. As is the case in most ghetto stories he was abandoned by his father and raised by his Korean mother and Grandmother, who tried to teach him the basic fundamentals of life while the streets taught him the realities of it.Being the Man of the House at such an early age dropped different types of responsibilities in his lap and he discovered that money was pretty much the cure for any worry his family might have. With this realization the man-child known as Grimm slowly evolved into a stick up kid....needless to say this wasnt the best life decision and the story would have had a quick ending if not for the introduction of his step-father at the age of 12.This step-father filled the void in Grimm's life and thanx to an old record collection introduced the future emcee to a world of music he hadnt really payed attention to before. This was followed by the purchases of his first hip-hop tapes and the bricks of the new road he was about to travel were paved in front of him....This journey went a lil off when due to several street based incidents and Grimm ended up in a DODS school on a military base in Korea...it was here however that his pen game grew and his off the top freestyling skills became legendary starting a crew with 2 cousins called the DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS or DRS. He later joined a crew called the IMA and released a mixtape with them that did fairly sound sales numbers.Returning to the United States in late 2004 - Grimm signed with business-minded friend and current manager Mike Torres and became the first artist on EastWest Recordz....Since then he has done shows in California and Boston.Grimm is currently working on his debut solo CD Titled "Guns & Roses" due out 2008, while making his new home in Los Angeles, California.
