Life is good, and getting better every day!

About Me

The condensed version. A San Fernando Valley kid, left home at 19 to, believe it or stuff it, join the circus. It all started at Bob Yerkes’ place. Bob, a circus performer turned stunt man / coordinator, was the head trainer for the TV show “Circus of the Stars”. I started working for him and shortly after was off. Made my professional debut with “The Flying Farfans” at Circus Circus Hotel and Casino Reno, Nevada in 1984. We transferred to the Las Vegas location a year later where I stayed with the troupe until 1991. I returned to Reno to ride the “Globe of Death” with Jody Jordan. Later, my then wife Jamie and I opened there with our own flying act, “The Flying Angels.” We left Reno in ’93 to rejoin the Farfans touring in S. America. We returned a year later, Jamie suffering a severe leg fracture in an accident during a performance. Performed with Miguel Vasquez and family in Motreal, caught for the 19th and last “Circus of the Stars” and spent a year on Ringling with the “Flying Pages” where two compressed, one ruptured disc and a fractured vertebra forced a retirement from flying for about three years. Went to Canada and worked for Garden Bros Circus as Lighting Director for three years. I ended my circus career when I left there. Came back to California and began a new life, first working with defense contractor Flyer Defense (formerly RACECO), then going to Champion Sidecars in Garden Grove. It’s been an incredible ride, leaving a lifetime of wonderful memories. I have four super kids; A.J. (21), Ashley (20), Tianna (19) and Kyle (10) that I love dearly and a family that has always been there for me. What more can anyone ask for?
