Pinups was originally a concept that Alex Payne (Cicada) gave me when I did our first project together with The Hoxtons. The name has since stuck and we build club tracks for the trendier nightclubs. Lee Robinson is the main driving force behind Pinups. He co-wrote Divine Inspiration's smash hit "The Way" on The Ministry Of Sound along with "What Will Be" and "Someday" on Heat Recordings. Lee has appeared on countless compilations worldwide performing under many different guises. He has also remixed for major labels such as EMI, BMG, Concept, Liberty etc etc. The outlook for this act looks strong with a firm release on Bricklane followed by releases on Pure Funk and Loopfreaks Black.
