NEW (from 1987!)
a short film salvaged from surviving footage shot some 20 years ago...
’folly’: is an allegorical episode concerning transmogrification and its agencies. Al Jolley plays a man trapped inside himself (he controls his zombie-like outer figure from within his suitcase) who is condemned to wander the earth aimlessly. In the story he seeks freedom by sacrificing his life. To this end he magnetizes an unwitting angel of death - in the form of the car driver (played by Timothy Didymus) who is meant to find and kill him, but in doing so, the agent is in turn condemned to the same condition...

In 2003 Timothy Didymus and I performed a live generative and improvisational concert at the Ars Electronica festival in Linz, Austria. Here is the film I made to accompany the resulting music; since there was no footage of the performance itself... All of the images were shot during the festival, in and around Linz]
