Politics, comics, political comics, uhhh... that sounds about right. Oh yeah, Cultural studies as well (as and especially relating to) Urban Design and planning.
I'd like to meet:
Animals, I tend to find vegitables and minerals rather droll.
Music:
Uh... Weezer, play the cool game to your right. Ben Harper, Pearl Jam still rocks (The concert footage below is really well filmed), Blues Music I'm a huge Taj Mahal fan, Luther Allison, Albert King, and when it comes to classic blues I'm all about Mississippi John Hurt.
Movies:
The Blues Brothers is perhaps the finest piece of cinema known to man... The Big Lebowski comes in a close second.
Television:
The Simpsons.... still relavent after all these years. and I've also been watching Entorage, I'm not sure if that makes me lame or if it makes me ahead of the trendy curve.
Books:
Must Read Comics:
Joe Saaco's Palistine, Mike Mignola's Hellboy Daniel Clowes' Ice Haven, David Lapham's Stray Bullets, Tom the Dancing Bug, anything by Ted Raal, and Aaron Mcgruder's Birth of a Nation (also the Boondocks collections)
,
Regular Books:
I'm currently reading The Geography of Nowhere by James Howard Kunsler, and next on my list is The Power Broker, about the life of Robert Moses. Also anything by David James Duncan is good, and The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon is a great read about the golden age of comics (it won the Pulitzer too so it's high art, unlike those funny books it describes).
Heroes:
Dave Barry, Bill Moyers, and Dan West
