This page is dedicated to the loving memory of Jack Hoffpauir. He passed away on Sunday November 18, 2007.
As we understand things right now...on Sunday November 18th it was a rainy day near Crowley Louisiana and Jack was pulling up to some railroad tracks to see if it was clear to cross... There are no gates in these parts ....there was a witness that stated he tried to back up, but obviously didn't get out of the way of the speeding train in time ...it clipped the front of the car and sent the vehicle into a wild spin...he was thrown from the vehicle and somewhere in the mayhem the impact killed him... Jack's last days were filled with laughter and good times as he enjoyed his time with hometown friends and his sister on the family farm.... The band has been having great shows and working on the next album... he just got his own place... things were going great... it wasn't his time !! but then again, I guess that's not for us to decide. We love you Jack, will miss you very much, but you will always be a part of us. And we will always hold dear the music we created together.Peace my brother..
Jack, you will be missed dearly by everyone! We love you!
