Hm, the basics - I am a biologist at a large pharma, where I do Sleep Research. Live in Philly and love to explore the city. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to laugh hysterically and just have fun. I play violin in a trio and a band, which I wish was my actual job, but alas, science pays the bills for now. I live to see live music and find new tunes. I am told I think too much, so I am working on that while remaining in that constant struggle to find out who the hell I am...every day reveals something new, so I feel no day is a complete waste. Hey, even those days where you lie in bed watching Food Network while drifting in and out of sleep might yield the realization that you prefer to eliminate the top sheet, and just use a comforter, or that Rachel Ray is the antichrist. Some things I've learned about myself recently - I have some awesome friends, I faint for silly reasons, deep breaths feel so friggin' good, I've acquired a snort (WTF?), I love baby corn, I can run without getting asthma anymore, I like fishing, I am still Daddy's lil girl, I miss the Jersey shore more than I thought, I can improvise musically, night-time+TV+couch is deadly for me, I like Dirty ho's, my fave crab cakes are from Harry Savoy's Seafood Grille, I need to move to California or Italy one day, I need to spend time in Africa and Japan, that I decide how I feel about myself, I am more productive when the sun goes down, I will inevitably piss ppl off and I have no control over that, I still see myself as being 14, I prefer baths to showers, I am completely enamored with the sky, I want a red wedding dress and to be married in the Mutter Museum on Halloween by Satan, I love Netflix, I like pulling grass out of the ground with my bare feet, I want a kitty, and that I am stronger than I ever imagined.
