We lie in wait in the calm before the storm, counting the stars to decipher the beacon of the return of our Mother. In the warm summer breeze the scent of burning flesh looms as beasts of burden pull the bodies of the descendents to their final resting place. In the distance the roar of the masses chokes the silence as the lions are fed with salt to dry the blood that rests upon their teeth. We are set aside as the deacons of our kind, brought forth to end the years of pestilence that have turned this planet into a wasteland of mindless souls...souless minds. The swords are sharpened and man is pitted against man and beast in games of death, meant to bring the destruction of the species and the rise of those who would bury the truth.
