Hello!

About Me

hmmm very difficult to rite these bits. Music is the main part of my life, I study a Jazz degree at the Leeds College of Music. Playing in bands is something i've been doing ever since i learn't to play an instrument. Two of the main ones are atmospheric prog band Fude, which i used to play drums in but now play keys/atmospherics and trumpet. Clicking on the picture below will take you to the website where you can download the latest sounds free of charge......and skapunk-hiphop onslaught: Hot Quiche which i play trumpet in. Clicking on the picture below will take you to the website where you can check out videos, mp3s, etc... They have been lucky enough to have played with cool bands such as Goldie Looking Chain, Adequate 7, No Comply, Captain Everything, Lightyear, Howards Alias, Lockdown Project, and others. I've also been jammy enough to get the oppurtunity to play with some pretty awesome jazz musicians such as Marvin Stamm, Denys Baptiste, Gary Crosby, Abram Wilson, Soweto Kinch, Alex Wilson, Kathryn Tickell, Jason Yardle.I like snow boarding, He's me and my brother Boo after a good spanking...I also windsurf and sail. Other than all that i tend to just spend time with my friends, have an awsome time and make good memories :)

My Interests

My biggest interest is of course music. I'm very passionate about that, whether it's listening, playing or writing. I snowboard and I windsurf when given the chance. But other than that my life is all about friends and being around great people. I love my life and i'm very lucky to keep the company i keep. Let the good times roll...

I'd like to meet:

Miles Davis and Clifford Brown would be nice, but i think thats somewhat unlikely. The deftones, because they make beutiful music... and DJ Shadow for the same reason...

Music:

Mandatory list of favorite music artists/bands...Deftones, Miles Davis, Biffy Clyro, DJ Shadow, The Mars Volta, Herbie Hancock, Incubus, John Coltrane, The Avalanches, UNKLE, MEW, Squarepusher, Nitin Sawhney, Our Lady Peace, Pendulum, Bill Evans, Chet Baker, Thrice, Solanoid, Astoma, Muse, Rival Schools, Lightyear, Debussy, Dillinger Escape Plan, Sonic Boom Six, Think Tank, Caddies, Maynard Ferguson, Clifford Brown, Soweto Kinch, Denys Baptiste, Pat Metheny + Lyle Mays, Django Bates, At The Drive In, Tool, Young Blood Brass Band, Deftex, Mark B and Blade, Roni Size, Mr Scruff, Lemon Jelly, Massive Attack, The Sneaker Pimps, Saosin, Capdown, Dvorjak, Mike Oldfield, Lamb, Dream Theater, Imogen Heap, Air, Cave In, David Holms, Lenord Bernstein, The Lost Prophets, Bjork, Freddie Hubbard, Frou Frou, GRP All Star Big Band, Team Sleep, Ugly Duckling and probably loads more that i can't think of off the top of my head :)Albums that im listening to on my computer at the mo...

Movies:

A big fan of the Matrix, particularly the Animatrix short films. Momento, Fight Club, Hard Candy, Minority Report, Layer Cake, Pulp Fiction, Lockstock and 2 Smoking Barrels, Akira, The Butterfly Effect are all awsome. As are Kill Bill 1+2 ... Donnie Darko is kinda kool. Spirited Away... ...Princess Mononoke... ...also Ghost In The Shell... ...Howl's Moving Castle... Karas... I like films that make me think, i've got to be in the right mood for it though. Otherwise i just want some good old testosterone action, wey!

Television:

I'm a big fan of the Office and anything Gervais. I LOVE 24. I sometimes have a habit of getting hooked to programs like Lost and Invasion. Programs like Jackass and Dirty Sanchez are quite entertaining, but other than that i don't really watch much TV. X-men is ace

Heroes:

Miles Davis is an easy one. I could go on about him for days, but his music speaks for itself. Clifford Brown, Fats Navarro, Lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard, Maynard Ferguson, Then many other jazz Greats such as Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Dizzy, Duke Ellington, Herbie Hancock, Tony Williams, Bill Evans, etc. Love it. Also many of the teachers i've had over the years, all have been HUGE inspirations. Aside from music: Ricky Gervais, Steven Weinberg, Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins.
