About Me

I talk way too much*.
I never seem to have any free time (mainly because I waste it dawdling).
I'm sorry (always, and about everything!)
My brain is always in overdrive. For everything I hear/see/experience, it makes a thousand connections. Sometimes it fries the circuits and I have a moment, but mostly I 'share' those ideas with everyone else.*see talking too much.
Piano music makes me cry, as does harmonica...and sometimes violin.
I work in a social history museum, where I type the information from thousands of dusty cards into a database (out of choice).I'm studying for an MA in Art Gallery and Museum and Studies too so hopefully I'll get to arrange said objects in a pleasing manner for public consumption at some point soon.
I love art of all persuasions, from Gil Elvgren to Jan Saudek, Bill Viola to Tintoretto, Anselm Kiefer to Rodin. You name it, if it moves me it will have my heart forever. Only problem is, I get as much pleasure from chatting to war veterans and doing museum stuff..heck, who says I can't have it all?
I spend the rest of my free time at gigs, mostly blues and rock n' roll type stuff or drinking whisky and wine with assorted local drunks. (Matthew, this one's for you).
