Tha Zone Bio:Starting out in 2005 the group Tha Zone emerged from Oakland California with a dream of one day becoming hip-hop stars. The trip has been long and hard but they have never gave up on the dream. From the beginning there has always been something different about these three young men which set them apart from other groups, Teaming up with young producer Dash they devised a new sound unheard in the bay area. Coming along around the same time of the hyphy movement it was hard to get a break since they’re not a hyphy group but a new era of music. Slowly but surely they began to make a name for themselves starting out taking pictures with Mack photography in Sacramento, they then used the fliers they received as a promotion scheme. They used the rising engine Myspace as a way to broadcast their unique sound shortly after becoming myspace members they’re popularity expanded into local places in the bay area with songs such as sweet love which blended a sweet soulful beat and an anita baker sample, and also I got a bottle a club banger. They comprised a demo which contained five songs shortly after that they began working at the studio 17 Hertz located in Hayward California and began working on their first solo album. After about six months of recording the group was finished. In the beginning of 2007 they made their biggest song known to date “Fresh Ta Def”, producer by the rising star Swerve. They recorded this popular song at the famous laughing tiger studio. This record brought on an onslaught of adoring fans from around the world, which catapulted them into the limelight and brought along with them shows at various venues. They are a group to be reckoned with and it is only a matter of time before this group blows.
