About Me

Hi, most of you know me if your on here. But as an update, I'm engaged to a great guy, Nick, who spoils me and keeps me laughing. He makes me not quite so serious all the time. We have a son, Chase, that's currently 5 months old. He is the absolute light of my life and my biggest accomplishment yet. Although he is wild and a beast already. I got a feeling he'll be more like his daddy than his mom when he gets older! I finished with my bachelors degree in computer engineering in 2003. I've put my Master's degree on hold for a little bit now. I would really like to go back and finish it, but I'm enjoying Chase for the time being. And with him, Nick, the dogs, and family, I feel like my plate's already a bit full. We have 3 dogs that are the loves of my life besides Nick and Chase! I have great family that I depend on for everything and great future in-laws. My brother graduated and came home. He talks sometimes of moving away again, it kills me but I know it's best if he does. Michigan doesn't have what he needs for his career. It really is great having him right down the road though!He even babysits Chase for us. Ilove the fact that my families remind me each day that being normal is not necessarily the most fun route for life! Actually, they make me wonder what normal is. I've forgotten a lot I'm sure but this'll do for now.

A little of everything, I like emo, Jimmy Eat World, Bowling For Soup, Fall Out Boy. Went to Warped Tour for the last 2 years with my brother. Had a good time. I also like rap and rock. I'm still a sucker for 80's rock. Motley Crue, Poison, Guns N Roses. Stupid? I know. Country. Most of the newer stuff.

My brother for sure. He's gone so far on his own and attained so many of his goals. Plus, he's really comfortable with who he is and I envy that. My little sis that's 21. She faced a major adversity when she was in her car accident. And she's been really strong and she's still so beautiful. You'd never know what happened. My mom, 2 kids and 2 jobs. Need I say more? She worked constantly as we were growing up but still made time for us. She still raised good kids that stayed tight with each other. We never even knew growing up we were short on cash. We blamed her cooking skills! But she also instilled in us that "You do what you gotta do to make it, survive, and take care of your family." My family. My friends.
