After the split of Doodsbergh in the
summer of 2007,
Julius decided to take a break and then beginning a new band.
A couple of weeks later he did bass
auditions for a death metalband,
but he ended second. After this Julius started Dark Forest,
but that name wasn't really a good band name, so the name changed to
Doodsberg,
but that name was also really bad sounding (becouse of his old band Doodsbergh).
After a few days he read about Niflheim and Niflhel, in dutch: Nevelhel.
Nevelhel was born.
(Note: the Doodsbergh’s DEMO Doodse Stiltes included a
track called Niflhel)
Julius started with the recordings of the Duisternis EP in november 2007,
and was experimenting with sounds, he came out on a mix of black and doom metal.
Duisternis EP tracklist: (SOLD OUT)
Nevel (Intro)
Abandoned Graveyard
Ketterij (Instrumental)
Valleien van Verraad
Duisternis
Doodse Stiltes (Outro)
After the release of the EP, there was a
month of silence in the Nevelhel Studio.
In april 2008 Julius started to record jam sessions and improvised riffs,
and wrote them down, in a month there were 9 new tracks written.
The album will contain 2 renewed numbers, ''Duisternis'' and ''Valleien van
Verraad''.
