About Me

What critics are saying about Fuller Still and their new album Color and Feeling:
"They blend a refreshing sense of folk/rock with poignant, spiritual lyricism . . ."
- Folk and Acoustic Music Exchange
"Fuller Still has a depth to its sound (not to mention their lyrical depth) that reveals new layers with each new listen . . . Fuller Still needs all the help it can get to obtain more exposure, for they deserve a greater spotlight."
- Infuze Magazine
". . . a reminder of how honest Christian music can tackle life's situations with a blend of faith and curiosity . . . Their sound is energetic without being flashy, and their lyrics are intelligent without being austere."
- Metro Lutheran
About the Band:
In 2003, the members of Fuller Still (Justin Rimbo, Josh Brecht, Gail Brecht, and Graham Peterson) relocated from all corners of the United States to convene in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the hub of an ever-growing and thrivingly-cool music scene. As a new band was born out of change, new possibilities were born with it – the members of Fuller Still hoped to create original music with an honest, meaningful and positive message that would build an environment in which people can connect with each other and Jesus Christ. Since then, the band has played all over the country, and has no plans of stopping any time soon.
With two albums now to their credit (2004's The Fuller Still EP and 2006's Color and Feeling), Fuller Still's sound has become something all its own. While self-labeled as "folk-rock," their live performances are genre-bending, energetic and interactive. As one writer for a Northwestern University newspaper wrote, "many of their songs have a driving energy and exuberance that the more laid-back ‘folk’ genre doesn't quite capture." Compared by critics to bands like Nickel Creek, Counting Crows, or early Caedmon's Call, Fuller Still remains a unique voice in a world of music which is becoming increasingly monotonous.
Fuller Still's track record includes shows at outdoor festivals, coffee shops and nightclubs, but their real passion and vision for the future lies in performing at youth events. At events like these, the band is able to relate to young people on both a personal and professional level, first leading them in high-quality, Christ-centered music, and then meeting them face-to-face for a closer experience. When Fuller Still are guests at a youth event, something extraordinary happens: God is glorified, walls come down, and lives begin to change for the better.
Looking forward, the band plans on going full-time with their ministry sometime in the near future. Their fan base continues to grow, and as the word spreads, Fuller Still gets busier and busier. No matter what kind of event you're planning, Fuller Still can fit their ministry to your needs. You provide ears to listen, and Fuller Still will bring a message of hope, encouragement, and forgiveness in a way you've never heard before.
Color and Feeling is Fuller Still's greatest accomplishment to date, and is currently available through their website or web-based music download services like iTunes .
