nature AND the city; walking through both; ART and MUSIC!!!; doing stuff; cruising around on my bike, but my bike is still currently in need of repair; working hard balanced with the feeling that it's hardly work; loving what I do and doing what I love; hanging out and going out; hanging out with good friends and eating good food (together and/or seperately); yoga; breathing; DANCING to good music; playing; finding cool spots to do fun things; flying my little airplane in open spaces; practicing living meditation and mindfulness (when I can remember to, that is). I thrive off good conversation and fresh air. I enjoy going to see good live music and art shows. I do a wide variety of art including illustration, painting, sculpting, drawing, arts and crafts. I do live art, event coordination, curation, promotion, and booking for the local SF creativity scene. I also teach general art, interdisciplinary art, and oil painting to kids, teens and adults... I try to teach life through art... I love my jobs! CREATIVITY is meditation in motion. I like to listen to and play music. I think of myself not so much as a musician but as a dabbler. I play music cuz it feels good. drums, rythym and percussion are cool. loves playin' me geetar too. love to sing, but only belt it out around people I am comfortable with. I also dabble in bass guitar, keyboards/synths, and whatever else there is around. When I'm not doing anything else, I really like to hang out with my cats, drink tea and be mellow. :)
artists, musicians, muses, dancers, thinkers, do-ers, teachers, creative creatures. Nice, honest, open-minded, relatively positive, good people into doing some of the same stuff I am (i.e. art, music, LIFE, creativity, hanging out, going out, dancing, walking, talking and being happy). Partners in crime... the more the merrier. Bodhisatvas. Other warriors.

again... there's a lot of stuff I'd rather be doing ...don't watch much tv, don't have cable and sometimes think of getting rid of my TV all together, but I was raised on television like a lot of people and it's a hard habit to brake..... :) I'll very, very occasionally watch the Simpsons, King of the Hill, KQED stuff.
I like a bunch of random books and authors. Steinbeck could be my favorite author if his freakin' stories didn't all (for the most part) have unhappy, fucked up, sad, tragic endings (the one's I've read anywho). JRR Tolkein stuff, all of it is awesome. The Little Prince is an awesome and deep book. Shel Silverstein's, The Giving Tree, is a long time fav. I like kids books and folktales. They have cool art and cool stories. I liked Fear and Loathing in L.V., and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I dig Carlos Casteneda, Joseph Cambell, buddist philosophy, and ancient wisdom tradition type books cuz they are mind expanding and trip me out. On the same note, I like, and read a bit about science and physics (string theory is pretty cool, even if it doesn't pan out). I have somewhat recently read: Siddartha, the Prophet, Life of Pi, Idiots Guide to Yoga, Motley Crue Dirt, A Brief History of Time (the illustrated version kicks ass), the Alchemist, Fup, a couple o' Casteneda books, choice portions of the SF Chronicle (Mark Morford and Jon Carroll for sho), and Rob Brezny in SFWeekly. I am currently reading Sweet Thursday by Steinbeck... I hear this one has a happy ending. :)
my mom. hardworking political, environmental, humanitarian activists. It's a dirty, depressing job, but someone's got to do it. ...and my friend Brew for holding out as long as he did and being such a happy dog til the very end.:(
