At the age of four, I started piano. Completely in love with music, I ventured on to play the guitar, violin, accordion, and mandolin. My latest endeavor has been singing. I am fourteen years old now and am currently homeschooled in the 8th grade. At the age of eleven, with a deep desire to understand music, I started taking music theory I, II, III, and IV at Texas Lutheran University under the instruction of Dr. Eric Daub. As well as those four classes, I also took English Comp. I, and studied under the violin instruction of Dr. Denise Peterson. In the spring semester of 2007 I received a gpa of 4.0 for all of the classes I was attending there at TLU. Through my nine years of music, I have studied under numerous amazing people. Some being: Mark O’Connor, Mark Wood, Olivier Charlier (at a music conservatory in France), _____ (dean of the music department at Indiana University), Stephanie Sant’ Ambrogio (former concertmaster of the San Antonio Symphony and director of Cactus Pear Music Festival), Ron Knuth, Brian Duckworth (former fiddle player w/ Robert Earl Keen), Ricky Turpin (former fiddle player for Asleep at the Wheel), Jimmy Don Bates (world champion fiddler), Terry Cavanagh, Scott Mitchell, and Jacob Wise
