Voodoo Jones

That's us, the cripple and the mute. He sings, I dance.

About Me

Hi I'm Voodoo Jones, lewd, crude and tattooed. Dedicated member of the Fiend Club. I represent what happens when one's parents are related BEFORE marriage. Incredible powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my 'magic sword' and said "By the power of...." No, sorry, that was how my name came to be on the register. Forget I said anything. *I feel so cheated......*Mad into comic books, Roman Dirge, Jonhen Vasquez, Steve Niles etc... umm... Tim Burton movies, film noir and so on. I get these strange feelings sometimes, like God's telling me to give serious thought to a full body prosthesis, or maybe allowing a symbiotic alien to bond with my blood on a molecular level.... Maybe I just need a nap. Also I think there are bees in my nuts....

My Interests

Horrorpunk, Comic Books, Movies, HR Giger, Taxidermy, Self-Promotion, Stuff.

I'd like to meet:

People I already know. The introductions are easier that way.

Music:

Misfits, AFI, Alkaline Trio, Beethoven, Reverend Horton Heat, Rob Zombie, Los Straitjackets, Brahms, Insane Clown Posse, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Ghastly Ones, Horrorpops, Handel, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Nick Cave, Necromantix, Portishead, Johnny Cash, The Ramones....

Movies:

Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Goonies, Indiana Jones Trilogy, Trilogy of the Dead, Hellraiser, the Urotsukidoji movies...I LOVE hentai!!

Television:

Not a massive fan of TV, the last good show on the tube was probably Happy Days (before they got into that whole dull-ass alien abduction storyline, or maybe that was the X-Files). Or maybe the original Scooby Doo, before Scrappy came along and reamed the whole concept....'Puppy Power'? I mean, COME ON? Other things didn't suck: The Munsters, Addams Family, Twin Peaks, Tales From the Crypt, The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, Deadwood etc.

Books:

Favourite authors include H P Lovecraft, William Shakespeare, Samuel Beckett, Clive Barker, Poppy Z Brite, Thomas Harris, Laurell K Hamilton, Neil Gaiman....

Heroes:

This one's too easy. Stan 'the man' Lee, Jerry Only, Tim Burton and Wile E Coyote who taught us to never give up on our dreams....no matter how many rocks we catch with our heads, or cliffs we fall off, or bundles of TNT we buy from Acme and plant in a really obvious location only to have them roll down the incline towards us, come to rest directly beneath our asses and explode, catapulting us into the nearest ravine before yet another boulder lands on our heads.....actually, Wile E Coyote was a bit of a tard wasn't he? Wow, I can't believe it took me this long to figure that out... You know what? Scratch the Coyote. I'll take God.
