Wow...well my interests are quite wide. I love going to the ballet and symphony, but I also love drag races and monster trucks. I'm a bit of a starving artist, I love to draw and paint but it's hard to get stuff into galleries. I like horseback riding. I was working on getting into English horseback riding, but the lessons and the necessity of having my own horse was too expensive, but I took lessons long enough that I can ride a horse without falling off. I like skydiving. That's great fun. It's expensive fun that only lasts for about one minute, but it's worth it. I love museums. I went to the Louvre and didn't want to leave. I want to go to the Smithsonian (?) next. I like to travel. I've been to a lot of places. I've lived in Iceland for several years, that was fun. I toured Europe for a month and I've been to China and Japan. I still have lots of places that I want to visit...it's a long list.
I'd like to meet people who don't irritate me. I've met Eddie Izzard and he is beyond amazing; an extremely cool guy. The next person that I'd like to meet would have to be Anthony Hopkins, because he's brilliant; and then Julie Andrews, Nicole Kidman, Jack Black, and so many more that I can't remember right now--because I'm kinda blonde.
I like just about everything except rap and some country. I do like symphony music, but just the really great stuff that gives me chills. Like Berlioz's Damnation of Faust, and Prokofiev's music for his Romeo and Juliet ballet. I also love the Turtle Island String Quartet, Edith Piaf, Hot Club of San Fan, and anything that has an interesting ethinic sound. Old rock is always great. I love the stuff from the 50's through the 80's.
Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, Victor/Victoria, All of Me, Rocky Horror Picture Show, all of the Monty Python movies/shows, X-Files movie, Disney's Sleeping Beauty (the art is so beautifully done), The Producers, Velvet Goldmine, Definate Article, pretty much any historical film, The Others, Signs, Moulin Rouge, the Matrix, and probably a few more that I can't think of.
Will & Grace, Frasier, Family Guy, Everybody Loves Raymond, I Love Lucy, LOST, the CSI shows, old SNL, the X-Files, NOVA, Jeeves and Wooster, Keeping up Appearances, The Cosby Show, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, Cow and Chicken, and Looney Toons (the original ones).
Stephen King's Dark Tower series, The Collector, Portrait of a Killer, The Jesus Papers, psychology text books and history books.
