Rapping wasn’t first in the life of J Wezz. Born and raised in Alexandria La., the street life was constantly calling. It wasn’t until high school when he was inspired to start rapping. As his skill increased he began taking part in freestyle sessions, quickly making a name for himself. During his senior year in high school he decided to take it up a notch, booking a trip to Jacksonville, FL., where he recorded for the first time in a real studio. That experience only gave J Wezz further motivation to practice his craft and reach another level musically. After the session, he decided to create a group/label to be known a The Deadly Alliance. After building a solid fanbase, Wezz took his movement to Atlanta in order to gain access to an even larger market. Since his arrival, Wezz has laid a foundation by performing his new single, "A Hood Classic" at every available open mic and showcase. According to Wezz, "Im just trying to give the people what they want: the REAL." With his versatile lyrical ability and a swagger to match, J Wezz plans to take over the industry and nothing is going to stop him.
