Born and raised in Oporto, where still lives, Static-D is a Dj that travels between various sonorities inside the House Music. His performances are like a magic box, a journey between different sounds and states of mind where you can find styles like progressive, tech, tribal, deep and others. Started at the end of 2002 just for fun. After feeling the taste of making a dance floor move, Static-D decided that this could be part of his life. Played in some small clubs in his sweet country (Velvet, Alpha Club, Fashion, etc). Also had a radio presence in nove3cinco (93.5FM), there were transmissions every fridays and saturdays with his sets. Static-D starts now new steps on his career, the production, with the objective of improve his work value and level. In 2007 his career went to a higher level, with gigs in some of the best clubs in Portugal with some of the world top Djs. Recently played in clubs like Club Mau Mau, Lagar’s, Club In, Caffé Del Rio, Maré Alta and others. But his gigs are not only in clubs. In October 2007, Static-D was invited to play in 2 university festivals were he played for more then 3.000 persons each time. With all this Static-D raised his career to the professional level, playing with Dj’s like Sergio Helou, Mark Brain, Nikola Gala, Xaric, Carlos Fauvrelle, Mário Roque, Filit, Da Fonseca and many more other talents in the electronic music. But that isn’t all, recently also played after a famous Portuguese band, the Expensive Soul, in one of the festivals where was the guest dj. At the moment Static-D also has regular presence in some radio shows like DLA Sessions at Dance Latino America radio, Acid Sounds at Super FM and in the newest DLA show Naja Sessions. As conclusion, we must say that you should follow the work of this young artist that has many things to learn but already has a lot to show to the world. Without any doubt a name to have in count for the future.
