After a lifetome of having my American Indian heritage denied me, I have found my people, and I am at peace with myself, knowing who--and what--I am. Now that I have found me, nobody will ever take that away from me.
I am an American of English, Scots-Irish, Lenape, Lumbee, Melungeon, and German descent. I am very proud of this combination. This is who I am.
I love nature and being outdoors.
I do not make friends easily, but the few friends I have are solid, and have been with me for a long time. I have no time for fleeting relationships, or for people who can't or won't look me in the eye when I am talking to them. I guess I intimidate them, but maybe they have low self-esteem to begin with.
Well, that is me in a nutshell. Enough said.

I love to go to estate sales and collectible shows. Some of what I have collected is for sale. I also like to study my family history, and I have been doing this for about 25+ years. I have been shocked, amazed, delighted, proud, and ashamed, and along the way, I've met some heroes, villains, and just plain, ordinary people, but, all in all, it has been quite educational, and a lot of fun.
