About Me

I am a starving artist; I am a nomad who wanders from place to place in search of food; I'd choose humility over prevaricated powers that money can buy; I have no vacancy available for resentments; I'd much rather forgive and be forgiven than have one forgotten; I felt ungrateful until I discovered the capacity to distinguish gratitude from my ego. I've given my heart away; broken and with contusions, it was returned to me; this strengthened my ability to love. I live everyday as though it is my last - living with a radical freedom one day at a time. This is why I never have any clean laundry. Do you know anyone that would do laundry if they thought it might be their last day to live? I'm unwilling to crawl before anyone, as I must continually dismiss unkind judgment of others. I'm not the ultimate judge, nor is any human being alive. I need constant change lest boredom will drive me insane.I can sense the unheimlich energy of the paranormal. I am fond of feeling this obscure sensation while strolling the historic streets of the holy city: Charleston, South Carolina, after dark. I enjoy being a bit frightened, but not really terrified. Check out supernatural pics in my soul atoms album! There's more to come.I am currently working on attaining a bachelor's degree from Saint Joseph's University; I am scheduled to graduate in 2008 with a major in English Literature and a minor in the Fine Arts.

My Interests

Writing and reading poetry; making narrative photography; painting big on canvas; reading non-fiction and fiction; journaling; traditional photography; digital photography and video production. I love to make music, and can keep a decent drum beat going if I have a good guitar partner ck out with. Songs. I am interested in the supernatural realm because natural life often bores me; thank God there is a mystery to ponder. The universe is a curious place. Rate my poem, Go here
What mental disorder do you have? Your Result: Manic Depressive

You have extreme cycles of highs and lows. Sometimes you feel like you don't know who you are. One week you could be very hyper and happy and the next week you are slow and depressed.

ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder)
GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder)
Paranoia
OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)
What mental disorder do you have? Yeah, that seems about right.

I'd like to meet:

Today, I'd like to meet EMILY DICKINSON: Poem 419... We grow accustomed to the Dark - / When Light is put away - / As when the Neighbor holds the Lamp/ To witness her Goodbye - / A Moment - We uncertain step/ For newness of the night - / Then - fit our vision to the Dark - / And meet the Road - erect - / And so of larger - Darknesses - / Those Evenings of the Brain - / When not a Moon disclose a sign - / Or Star - come out - within - / The Bravest - grope a little - / And sometimes hit a Tree/ Directly in the Forehead - / But as they learn we see - / Either the Darkness alters - / Or something in the sight/ Adjusts itself to Midnight - / And life steps almost straight.
