About Me

The band consists entirely of one person. In fact it's not so much of a band as a solo side-project to life. Maybe some effort will be put in to following the dream that the music industry represents to Andy, or maybe it won't. Either way he can't write lyrics. Hopefully however some good will come of this as it will not be affected by the decisions of others. Anyway, that's enough rambling on for now.Andy was born in the West Midlands and, aside from about 2 years spent in the middle-east at a very young age due to parental work commitments, has continued to live there. He is very much a 'child of the 90s' and proud of it.He began to play guitar originally at the age of 7 after encouragement from his parents but quit within months. Around 7 or 8 years later he returned to the instrument as he became increasingly immersed in music after the death of his grandfather. Since this time music has become something of an escape for Andy whether it be listening to the music of others or attempting to create his own.Somehow Andy's career options have become the reverse to the normal idea as he is looking to study Computer Science at university with music acting as the back-up plan. Hopefully he'll be able to sort out this terrible imbalance sometime soon.A lot of other things have happened in Andy's life but none of them are of enough real consequence to include here and, since he's had enough of writing in the 3rd person, that's your lot.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Andy - Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, any other instruments, production, promotion... Everything else.***********************************"I would love to live in the olden days - sort of the pride and prejudice era - so that I could spend the day talking at length about deep and meaningful issues without having to speak bastardized English filled with the abbreviations, slang, improper grammar, txt speak and techno-babble. In my spare time I would read intellectual and thought-provoking books and compose classical music on a grand piano or write short poems and bedtime stories to amuse the children. I'd have to be some sort of lord, obviously, living with my wife and children in a country manor with my own private library and maybe a servant or two so that I wouldn't be distracted from my thoughts. I wouldn't be arrogant or self-righteous about it or anything, I'd just find it interesting. But, alas, we live in a much faster-paced world these days. I don't know why everyone's in such a hurry; the world's supposed to end in 2012! I'd rather take my time and enjoy the view."

Sounds Like: Everything and nothing all at once. Alternative and mainstream. Loneliness and joy. Melancholy daydreams. Teenage angst. Another victim of commercialism. Exhaustion. A cure for boredom. Immaturity, childishness and the idealistic view of a world that will never exist. ***********************************"It's like... if john frusciante and billy corgan had a love child..."
