The Bob Hope Hollywood USO at Los Angeles International Airport is located on the arrivals level, directly across from Terminals 1 and 2, next to the Encounter restaurant. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week year round, including holidays. Our USO offers a place for active and retired military personnel and their families to rest while traveling through LAX. Our facility has showers, complimentary food and beverages, computers with internet access, a nap room and a children's room. We also offer the United Through Reading (UTR) program at our USO, where any guest can record themselves reading a book to their children, nieces, nephews, or young siblings. The USO will mail the new book and the DVD recording free of charge for our guests.This is the only USO facility in the world that is authorized to use the Hope name. Our USO Center at LAX brings comfort and a "safe haven" to American troops and their families traveling to and from overseas and stateside assignments. The Bob Hope USO is not funded by the government, and relies on financial and "in-kind" support from individuals and business donors who want to express their appreciation to our troops. Our staff of dedicated and trained volunteers make sure that our honored guests experience "the Spirit of America" at its best.

He was dedicated to bringing happiness around the world, by hosting parades, entertaining the troops and even acting. And his love and dedication to the troops was immeasurable.
