Kovaydin crew, which started out in 2005, is a bunch of individuals situated in different parts of Finland promoting hardcore techno to the locals and elsewhere. As an internet/indie label we also represent original hardcore to make a difference with all the overcommercial copycatcore out there. The main styles are darkcore, non-uk trancecore, terror, speedcore and (industrial) hardcore in general. The Finnish hardcore sound can be described as abrasive, strident and melancholic, but we're not only limited to that ;)
As of 2007 Kovaydin Vastarinta is also involved in underground hardcore parties by organizing 'Brainbashers' in 2007 August in Tampere city. We do this for the love of harder underground electronic music and not for profit. We want to keep hardcore alive in its true form and not as part of some two-faced marketing scheme. The next Brainbashers party will be held 1st of June 2008! It's not underground this time, but the setting stays true for the cause. For more information check out http://brainbashers.kovaydin.net
