As part of an extensive 3½ week experiment (more social than scientific, more game show than NOVA), I've finally compiled a coherent list of results and poured over them with a stunning conclusion: The TKO Method actually works.
Okay, so perhaps the non sequitur self help program known to some as the "TKO Method" isn't what actually 'worked' in this experiment, but in the case of a somehow successful money hungry self obsessed persona such as Todd Kessler, it could be said that an audience loves to hate a glib, well-dressed villain.
I must admit that, although fun, playing a villain to crowd is a delicate technique, and I've fallen flat on my face many times. It isn't until now, as the tour comes to a close, that Kessler's mantra "think success, be successful" actually makes its mark and completes the transformation. The more a crowd feeds this monster the easier it gets, taking any and all improvisation one step further. I'll never fully understand it in practice or theory.
