About Me

dashboard was born during the monsoon of 2k5 and produces 'progressive BANBASI electronica' or 'ELETRONI-KIRTAN' a natural evolution of bhakti culture prevalent on beaches of Utkal where the Jugernaut rolls every year...the magic carpet is a 19 min transition of sounds created as an ode to an end of an era of innocence bhakti and cult worship of the brahmin appropriated adivasi deity Juggernaut in Puri and the commercialisation of the ancient temple city of which the legendary adivasi poet bhima bhoi made a climate change prophecy that is coming true saying the temple, the deity and the followers will be one day swallowed by the sea...the ten phases in the transition are - the magic carpet - insect world - prelude to blue moon - zenith - passage of time in the whistling woods - temple of ecstasy - feet in water - swept with gold - trance parikrama - the priest and the lord...leave a comment or message ur email to experience it all...'morning trance' is the aftermath of a feverish dream that rings a bell in the mind and brings to the morning light a shade of nocturnal kirtans (bhatki music) in temples dotting the coast of Utkal...
