Bartek Majewski

Coming from hiphop and djing, Bartek Majewski started to develop his own imagination of ambient and electronica music in 2006. First inspiration by his electronica hero, jean-michel jarre, as he was a kid and later by artists like boards of canada and abfahrt hinwil. He realized the space of that kind of sound and the possibility to let the own creativity go into a new direction by mixing ambient and elcectronica sounds.
The tracks which are on my first little album called "EARLY REFLECTIONS" were my first sounds i ve ever made with a music program. It was the first time i begun to think seriously about arrangements and sound. So I started easily to experiment with different sounds and drum kits after spending a couple of years with turntables and the yamaha rm1x sequence remixer which i used for doing hiphop instrumentals.
My second album "BETWEEN EARTH AND SPACE". In the beginning i had the idea of a concept album for this one but after experimenting with many different sounds and hearing a lot of electronica and ambient music as well i decided to take the tracks which i diggin the most. Anyway, i had the idea of space in my mind all the time. So the tracks on this album are still very ambient with a little bit of electronica.
At present i m working on my new album "DUALWELT". It is in progress...
