Renaissance faires, the arts, animals, nature, spiritualism, anything Celtic, music (all kinds except most rap), books, poetry, & laughter.
People! Mainly in Houston & surrounding areas.
I always hate this question since I love all music. I think rap is about the only thing that doesn’t do it for me. I have many friends that are musicians in the Austin scene. Just to name a few favorites including Austin musicians is Chelle Murrey http://www.Chellemurrey.com, Tiny Livestock http://www.tinylivestock.com, Chris Lee http://www.hollowbone.net, Patrice Pike http://www.patricepike.com, The Brobdingnagain Bards http://www.thebards.net, Broken Teeth http://www.brokenteeth.com , Monster Rodd http://www.monsterrodd.com/ Sarah Dinan http://www.sarahdinan.com, Kevin Fowler http://www.kevinfowler.com just to name a few. Others include Alice Cooper (my favorite), Meatloaf, Aerosmith, Allman Brothers, Louis Armstrong, Atlanta Rythem Section, Queen, Savatage, Dream Theater, Bad Company, Black Crowes, Damn Yankees, Violent Femmes, Van Halen, Heart, Janis Joplin, Kansas, Iron Maidan, Blackfoot, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sister Hazel, Night Ranger, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, etc. Like I said I listen to everything. I am always into hearing a new band too. Music is a huge part of my life & soul. There just isn't the words for it.
I love horror movies. Those are just a given but here are a few of my favorites that fall out of that genre: Instinct, Enemy mine, Music from another room, Crying Freeman (come on Mark Dacascos naked. You can’t beat that). I am also a huge Danny Kaye fan as well as I love musicals.
Not a huge TV fan but I guess, Law & Order, Jordon, & CSI. I would rather go hang with friends.
I love to read & read almost anything although I tend to go for horror writers, John Saul, Dean Koontz, & Anne Rice. I like to read history & spiritual books. I am “Celtic Pagan†so I guess for some that would be Occult books. lol I love books on odd history facts as well.
Heroes is a hard one for me because I have a different outlook on that. My idea of heroes are a special friend that gave his life for another. A little girl age 4 I met once who was 75% blind & had experienced 7 heart attacks who taught me more about courage than I could have ever dreamed. My friends that never let me down when I need them, my mother who had breast cancer & beat it, people that can find something to smile about when the world is so cold & cruel, a man that taught me what love was, another that taught me how to walk in it. There are so many more & probably not enough time.
