I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hello friends. I'm sure most of you have seen some of the movies I've been involved with. My favorite times were during the heydays of the Hong Kong film industry. So many memories and good friendships from that period.

I have continued working here in the U.S. doing stunts acting in a few films, but right now my concentration is on my family and especially my son. As you can guess, working as a stunt person takes up a lot of time, meetings, rehearsals, training, and shooting can take months, and I've come to realize that my needs are no longer the same. I find more joy in watching my son do his homework that I ever had in the industry.

So with this temporary retirement, I can sit back and relax a bit (as much as someone with as much drive as myself can relax), and reflect and remember all the good times I had and plan for the great ones to come.
So for all of you out there interested, come on by and check out the page, the clips and photos. I can't promise to answer every message, but please know that I appreciate your kind thoughts and words. Peace and blessings.

My Interests

Goju Ryu Karate, Martial Arts, Movies, Acting, quiet time with family.

I'd like to meet:

This clip is from the movie, “The Dragon Fighter” (aka “Hard To Die,” 1990) This fight scene is pretty good.. I just hated my wardrobe. I called this the "Barney" wadding suit. lol!

"My Lucky Stars" this is the film that almost all of my fans recognize me from. This clip has been everywhere. This was my first Hong Kong film, and who better to have as c-stars than Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, and Yuen Biao. My fight with Sammo, ended up wit me going to the hospital to get 17 stitches in the back of my head.. you'll see way. I had to do that fall 23 times.

"City Cops" This film was hard work, but the final fight with Cynthia Rothrock is pretty good.

This was a silly little skit I did on the Tonight Show. They used clips from "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". I don't get to do much, but I got a close up, hehe!

Music:

R & B mostly, but 70's music is pretty good. Really liking the soundtrack to Kill Bill.

Movies:

So many good movies. Too many to name. "Kikujiro" was wonderful. I like action films, comedy and good dramas. My favorite actors are Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Costner, Bill Murray, Beat Takashi, Nanako Matsushima, Bruce Lee, Sammo Hung, Andy Lau, Chow Yun Fat, Toshiro Mifune. Favorite directors are Steven Spielberg, Sam Mendes, Peter Jackson (i loved Lord of the Rings).

Television:

No.. I don't watch it. No time!!

Books:

I don't read as much I would like.

Heroes:

Bruce Lee, My Sister, My Husband, My Son (I am so proud of him), and my friends Ming, Lucy, John, Dianna, Ronnie, Jeff and James.

My Blog

So you’re into martial arts.. hummmm!

When I was working in the industry, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with some truly inspirational people. I can honestly say that I've seen some of the most remarkably talented Martial Artists...
