Walk Your Way

About Me

Hey everyone! welcome to my myspce music page. I'm singer-songwriter from Ashville, NY, a small town in western NY on Chautauqua Lake. I've has been playing guitar and writing music for eight years, and have since taken on other instruments including, mandolin, harmonica and piano. Singing, one of my true passions, has been a big part of my life since childhood. I started writing music, experimenting with different styles ranging from pop, to blues-rock, to softer ballads. I began to develop my music style more when I spent some time working with the Infinity Music Program, in Jamestown, NY. I became a member of the Infinity Bluegrass Project, for which I performed lead and harmony vocals and mandolin. Through this I found a love and respect for the bluegrass and folk styles. Incorporating these into my music created a new fresh sound fusing blues, bluegrass, folk, rock and pop. After high school, I studied at SUNY Oneonta as a music industry major, further pursuing my love of music. In spring 2007 I took some time away from school to travel and concentrate on writing, and now I've been playing the bar scene in the Western NY area. I'm planning to continue playing shows, and expand to new areas and venues. I'm gonna be taking my music to Denver, CO when I move there this august. I'm hoping to reach some more people and get my music out there. I'm also hoping to release my debut album this summer 08’. Thanks for swinging by my page and the support! Hope you dig it!
